Tragedy forces a mother and son to say goodbye forever. In a hospital bed they discuss their longing, anger, and their relationship. The son is the mother’s boy who grew up too fast and maybe a bit selfish. With so much to catch up and taken away, the mother wonders why she is even still alive.
